Welcome

For more than 60 years, the United Way of Hunt County has served the Greenville and surrounding Hunt County by striving to improve the lives of those in need and, in turn, make our community better as a whole.

While we may have had more than a few different names through the years – the United Drive Organization, the Community Chest, and the Greenville United Fund among others – our commitment to serve our friends and neighbors when they needed it most has never changed.

We seek to advance the common good in Hunt County by focusing on the building blocks for a good life – education, income, and health – and create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of community problems.

Cut Pharmacy Costs with FamilyWize!

United Way of Hunt County is joining other United Way offices across the nation to endorse a new Pharmacy Discount Card Program called FamilyWize.

FamilyWize tracks the number of claims using these cards per county, with the savings of each (of up to 35% for non-covered prescriptions) compared to the original cost so families in Hunt County can save hundreds of dollars where it counts!

This program is available to people who don't have health insurance, or who have to buy medicines not covered by insurance, Medicare or other programs.
